Lamine Yamal’s injury late in the season has finally helped Roony Bardghji earn a break into the FC Barcelona starting lineup, and the player has shown sparks of his brilliance in recent games.
The summer arrival knew well that he would be competing with Yamal for a place in the team even before he joined, and he has done well whenever given the chance.
He did not, however, expect as marginal a role as he has seen, and there have been several reports of a potential departure in June as a result of the same.
As reported by SPORT, Barcelona’s management is planning to hold an important meeting at the end of the season with the winger’s entourage to decide his future.
Bardghji, after all, is caught between two minds on whether to stay or leave, and the club hope a meeting with him can clarify matters.

If the young winger does indeed opt to leave, he does not have a dearth of suitors with Real Betis, Inter Milan, Juventus, Monaco, Ajax and Porto among the clubs interested.
Barcelona, for their part, are not considering a permanent transfer as they believe in Bardghji’s talent and that he can be a special player in the future.
What is being considered, thus, is a loan departure or a sale with a buyback clause.
Barcelona will not sell him easily, and the decision over whether to keep him or sell him will be made at the end of the season, taking into account his performance in the coming weeks.
