Brianna Utecht opened her heptathlon competition with a ninth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 14.08. She then recorded a season-best mark of 1.65 meters in the high jump, placing sixth overall. In the shot put, Utecht finished fifth with a throw of 12.70 meters. She closed out the day with an 11th-place finish in the 200 meters, posting a time of 25.72.
Charlotte Cullen took 16th overall in the race, with her new personal best of 2:07.45. Alongside her, Morgan Yeomans claimed 19th and Brianna Lee took 22nd.
Dillon Leacock came in 15th overall in his 400-meter hurdles race, with a time of 53.18.

The Tigers will continue with the SEC Outdoor Championships for the second day, with loads of events to look out for. Utecht will wrap up her heptathlon competition in the 800 meters, long jump and javelin throw before the final standings are announced. Meanwhile, Marlena Tresnjo is set to compete in the womenâs high jump after moving to No. 5 in Mizzou history with her performance at the Drake Relays. In the menâs shot put, Chase Crawford and Sam Albert will represent the Tigers. Mizzou will also have a strong presence in the womenâs 1,500-meter preliminaries, with Brianna Lee, Kobi Walker, Morgan Yeomans, Charlotte Cullen, Suzy Lecoutre, Allison Newman and Monica Wanjiku all scheduled to compete. On the menâs side, Joseph Bariola, Carter Spradling, Finnian Russell, Lasse Funck and Drew Rogers will race in the 1,500-meter preliminaries. Elsewhere on the track, Robert Hines will compete in the menâs 100-meter dash preliminaries, while Elijah Limo and Joshua Allison are slated for the menâs 3,000-meter steeplechase.
