Each week we will feature some of the top performances across South Jersey baseball diamonds in our seven-county coverage area.

Haddon Heights' Carter Zetusky was the top vote getter last week, garnering 38.5 percent of the 1.0 K votes recorded. Northern Burlington's Logan Downey and Clearview's Josh Yurgin rounded out the top three vote getters.
Jordan Gilligo, Northern Burlington. The senior twirled a two-hitter with one walk and six strikeouts as the Greyhounds silenced Steinert, 3-0, on April 2. He helped his own cause with a solo homer â his first at the high school level.
Chris Pignatelli, Cinnaminson. The sophomore collected six hits, including a pair of doubles, and five RBIs as the Pirates picked up wins over Holy Cross Prep Academy and Florence along with a loss to Delran. Pignatelli went 4-for-4 with two RBIs against the Lancers and had three more RBIs against the Flashes.
Matt Prado, Pennsauken. The junior went 4-for-6 with six walks and seven runs scored as the Indians went 2-1 for the week. The hot stretch raised Pradoâs batting average to .310 and he shares the team-leading 20 runs scored with Kelwin Batista and Jonauris De Leon.
Josh Rivera, Doane Academy. The sophomore went 6-for-9 with six RBIs as Doane Academy remained undefeated with three more wins last week. Rivera has knocks in six of his last seven games, raising his batting average to .444 with 16 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
Milestone: Pennsaukenâs Kelwin Batista fanned 11 batters, including the 200th of his career, during Fridayâs game against Northern Burlington. The senior southpaw has struck out 11 in back-to-back games and has four double-digit K performances this season.
Ben Alexander, Haddon Heights. The junior went 3-for-5 with a triple, three runs scored and two RBIs as the Garnets knocked off West Deptford and Collingswood. Alexander is batting .361 with 17 RBIs, which is tied for the team lead with Cole Simon.

Pat McVeigh, Sterling. The junior tossed a five-inning shutout with a career-best eight strikeouts and helped his own cause with three hits and two RBIs in the Silver Knightsâ 16-0 win over Paulsboro. McVeigh scattered four hits and walked one in the outing.
Cade Schofield, Audubon. The junior collected a hit in three straight games with four total knocks for the week going into the weekend. He scored twice in a win over Paulsboro on April 28, then drove in a pair of runs in a victory over West Deptford the following day. Schofield is hitting .300 on the season.
Mason Hill, Rancocas Valley. The senior fired a 97-pitch gem, holding Eastern to three hits over seven innings, en route to a 3-1 win on April 30.
Chase Kowal, Shawnee. The senior piled up six hits, including two homers, and eight RBIs as the Renegades went 3-1 for the week. Kowal homered in consecutive games against Paul VI and Haddonfield, raising his season total to four, while the eight RBIs gave him 17 RBIs on the spring.
Max Sullivan, Bishop Eustace. The senior strung together three straight two-hit games, knocking in seven runs over the stretch. He hit .600 (6-for-10) with a homer, three walks and four runs scored. Sullivanâs batting average is up to .453 with 22 RBIs.
Milestone: Shawneeâs Brian Anderson became the all-time win leader in program history with his 399th career victory over previously unbeaten Cherry Hill West on Friday. Anderson improved to 399-204 in his career with the Renegades, surpassing Brian Gibneyâs old mark of 398. Shawnee plays at Eastern on Monday.
Cooper Himes, Overbrook. The Rams rattled off three straight wins last week and Himes was in the center of all the action. The senior went 6-for-11, collecting two hits in all three games, while knocking in eight runs and scoring seven. Himes homered and drove in five runs against Collingswood on April 28. The hot streak lifted his batting average to .413 with two homers and 18 RBIs.
Tyler McCullough, Timber Creek. The senior went 5-for-9 with a double and home run as the Chargers went 2-1 last week. McCullough homered and drove in two in a win over Deptford on April 29. The day before, he tossed a complete-game victory with strikeouts in a 4-1 win over the Spartans.
Michael Montone, Williamstown. The junior went 6-for-8 with five runs scored and three RBIs as the Braves went 2-0 for the week. He also swiped a bag in both contests. Montone has six multi-hit games this spring and is hitting .457.
Cooper Mulhern, Delsea. The senior batted .500 (3-for-6) with four RBIs as the Crusaders swept the season series with Highland. He doubled his season RBI total in the two games.
Jack Cassidy, St. Joseph Academy. The junior went 9-for-12 with four runs scored and three RBIs as the Wildcats clinched the United Division title with a season-sweep of Atlantic County Tech and a victory over Oakcrest. Cassidy is hitting .460 with 23 knocks and 23 runs scored.
Don Menzoni, Vineland. Helping power the Fighting Clanâs four-game winning streak, the sophomore scored a run in all the contests over the stretch and had three two-hit performances. Menzoni also swiped three bases and has 18 SBs for the season.
JJ Watkins, Cedar Creek. The junior scored five runs and drove in four more as the Pirates earned wins over Mainland and Atlantic City. Watkins has nine RBIs in his last six games, raising his season total to a team-best 18.
Milestone: Bridgeton sophomore Anthony String collected his 100th career strikeout during a win over Penns Grove. The right-hander is the seventh pitcher to achieve the feat under head coach Michael Valella.
