Chelsea: No shots, no tackles for 30 minutes, out-run in 34 consecutive matches
Chelsea faces another defeat, losing 3-0 to Brighton, with no shots for 30 minutes.
Bayern Munich is reportedly renewing interest in Tottenham's Xavi Simons and midfielder Pape Matar Sarr. Both players could be targets for a summer transfer, with Sarr's value rising amid Tottenham's relegation threat.
According to one report, Bayern Munich could be back in on a pursuit of Tottenham attacker Xavi Simons. Last summer, there was an internal disagreement over Simons between head coach Vincent Kompany and supervisory board member Uli HoeneĂ. Now, things could be heating up again:
đš #Tottenham đłđ± Xavi Simons, Dutch midfielder at Tottenham, attracting Europeâs giants.
đ Interest â Bayern Munich, Arsenal and PSG.
đ° Transfer packages â Over âŹ50M require board approval. It does not seems like this would be a move that Bayern Munich would pursue. Simons has six goals and seven assists in 42 games across all competitions this season. For now, it is more than fair to raise an eyebrow and be skeptical of this one.
Bayern Munich is reportedly considering a pursuit of Tottenham attacker Xavi Simons, who has attracted attention from several European clubs.
Tottenham is reportedly valuing Pape Matar Sarr at around ÂŁ50 million, which could prompt interest from Bayern Munich and other big clubs.
Tottenham's threat of relegation could lead to significant transfer activity, as bigger clubs may target their players, including Sarr and Simons.
In addition to Bayern Munich, clubs like Arsenal, PSG, Real Madrid, and others are reportedly interested in both Xavi Simons and Pape Matar Sarr.

Chelsea might make a push for FC Köln attacker Said El Mala:
â It is TRUE: Brighton are in the lead for Said El Mala. But it could be that other interested clubs still have a chance in this race, like Newcastle and Chelsea. Thatâs because the Brighton offer was about âŹ35m plus âŹ4m in add-ons, and Cologne want âŹ50m. If they donât get this money, perhaps theyâll be open to talking with Chelsea again. This could happen. At the moment, the way is clear â El Mala looks very likely to be playing Premier League football next season. Now we have to see whether he ends up at Brighton, which is the current plan, or if FC Köln say it wonât work because of the money on the table. Right now, El Mala seems like he might be favoring a move to Brighton because he brother could go in a package deal with him from Cologne. As for Chelsea, they could tempt the youngster with a big offer if they really want El Mala that bad.
Bayern Munich is reporttedly interested in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pape Matar Sarr:
âSpurs insist Sarr is not for sale, but privately they know that big clubs are going to come calling, and some may already have done so,â one source said. âSarrâs value is growing and thereâs a real possibility of him moving on this summer whether they go down or not. Real Madrid, PSG, and Bayern Munich are all big fans of the player, and offers of around ÂŁ50m would probably be enough,â another added.
Tottenham are facing an increasingly real threat of relegation this season and thatâs inevitably started to lead to serious behind-the-scenes conversations about players who could be snapped up by bigger clubs this summer.
While there are clearly a lot of players in this squad that have under-performed, there is also some appreciation for a few of their younger talents who could still go on to improve a lot in the right conditions, so that creates the potential for one or two major summer transfer sagas in the months ahead.
One name being mentioned a lot is Pape Matar Sarr, with several of my sources in the industry telling me that Spurs are aware of growing interest in the 23-year-old from some of Europeâs elite clubs.

Manchester City could attempt to beat Bayern Munich to the punch for Feyenoord right-back Givairo Read:
â It is TRUE: Manchester City have joined the race for Givairo Read and are prepared to go toe-to-toe with Bayern Munich. Itâs a hard punch for Bayern Munich, as theyâve known the player for a long time. They were in talks, they want him, and theyâd like to bring him to Munich. But if the price rises, then things are getting difficult, as they donât really want to pay more than âŹ30m. For Bayern Munich, thatâs a lot of money for a right back. Read is reportedly one of the players Bayern Munich could pursue this summer.
FC Barcelona was thought to be leaning toward keeping Marcus Rashford, but that might no longer be the case:
Barcelona could pass on activating the permanent option clause to sign on-loan Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford, according to Marca. The Blaugrana have the option to sign the 28-year-old for a fee of âŹ30 million, but it is reported that the clubâs hierarchy are concerned about his recent drop in performance, with Rashford having scored just two goals in his last 16 matches. They are beginning to explore potential alternatives for the upcoming summer transfer window.
If you saw rumors linking Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to Brighton & Hove Albion, Sport Bildâs Christian Falk wants you know that info is not true:
â It is NOT TRUE: Brighton are considering a move for Manuel Neuer if he leaves Bayern this summer. The German will decide whether he stays for another year in Munich or quits at the end of the season. I spoke with him after the match against Real. He wants to make a decision in the relatively near future. The game itself was really tough for him. The first two goals from Real were, Iâm afraid to say, two mistakes from Manuel Neuer. But the match before he was brilliant, and he was good in the second half of the second leg in Munich. I think heâs still having fun, and I heard that if heâs still enjoying himself, heâll want to do another year at Bayern. We have to see! Heâs set to become a father again; his wifeâs pregnant with his second child. Perhaps thatâs why he doesnât want to play the World Cup. Perhaps he wants to be a family guy. But I think, as we saw yesterday in the match against Real Madrid, Neuerâs having so much fun that he could very well play one more year. *If you are looking for more Bayern Munich and German national team coverage, check out the latest episodes of Bavarian Podcast Works, which you can get on Acast, Spotify, Apple, or any leading podcast distributorâŠ*
