Bayern Munich will not pursue Tottenham's Xavi Simons this summer, despite previous interest. The club is also linked to Newcastle's Anthony Gordon, while West Ham is interested in a Bayern midfielder.
Despite rumors to the contrary, Bayern Munich might really not being pursuing Tottenham Hotspur attacker Xavi Simons. Of course, Bayern Munich was closely linked to Simons last summer when he was leaving RB Leipzig, but Uli Hoeneß vetoed the deal. Recently, there were rumors that the Bavarians might take another run at Simons, but that does not appear to be the case:
Tottenham Hotspur’s Xavi Simons is not viewed as a concrete target by Bayern Munich for this summer’s transfer window, despite previous interest from the Bundesliga giants.
The Dutch attacker arrived as Tottenham’s marquee signing at the beginning of the season from RB Leipzig for a fee just shy of £52m.
Bayern Munich has deemed Xavi Simons not a concrete transfer target due to previous high asking prices and a lack of current interest.
Bayern Munich is reportedly considering Newcastle's Anthony Gordon as a potential transfer target.
West Ham has expressed interest in acquiring a midfielder from Bayern Munich, although specific names have not been disclosed.
Xavi Simons joined Tottenham Hotspur from RB Leipzig for a fee just shy of £52 million.

There was interest from the Bavarians last summer, but they did not pursue a deal, deeming the asking price too high. Bayern Munich have been mooted as a possible destination, but Simons is ‘not a concrete transfer target’, according to Sky Deutschland. Kompany did not exactly agree with Hoeneß’s assessment of how things played out, but it appears the coach still will not get the player he seems to want. If you had your choice, would you wants Simons or Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon.
FC Barcelona appears to be very serious about making an offer for Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni:
Barcelona are laying groundwork in their pursuit of Internazionale defender Alessandro Bastoni, says Mundo Deportivo. The LaLiga club want to secure the 27-year-old Italy international to a five-year deal for the 27-year-old, who will do “everything possible” to complete the switch to Spotify Camp Nou, including accepting a lower salary to help the club remain within financial limits. Previous reports have indicated that any deal would require an offer worth in the region of €75 million. However, Inter Milan is not feeling too threatened just yet as the Italian side doubts that Barca can meet its €70 million price tag per Gazzetta dello Sport.
Longtime Hoffenheim stalwart noted Bayern Munich destroyer Andrej Kramarić looks like he is close to a contract extension with the club:
🚨⏳ EXCL | Advanced negotiations are ongoing between TSG Hoffenheim and Andrej Kramaric.
The 34 y/o club legend is close to signing a new contract for two more years until 2028, if nothing out of the ordinary happens.
@\_dennisbayer @SkySportDE Kramarić has had a hell of a career and deserves to finish it how he sees fit…and that appears to be with at least one more season at Hoffenheim.
FC Barcelona could be turning all of its attention toward Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez for this summer:
Barcelona have made Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez their priority transfer target this summer, reports Mundo Deportivo. Álvarez, 26, has impressed since joining Atlético Madrid from Manchester City for an initial €75 million in 2024, with 18 goals and nine assists to his name this season. With that in mind, Barcelona are believed to be willing to make a €100 million move for the Argentina international, though it’s unclear if that will be enough to seal a switch. Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen, Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic and Atlético’s Alexander Sorloth are listed as some other targets in case the Blaugrana can’t land Álvarez.
Robert Lewandowski’s agent is in Italy to conduct talks over a free transfer in the summer, when his client’s Barcelona contract expires, with a meeting expected with Juventus and AC Milan.
West Ham is reportedly very interested in getting Bayern Munich midfielder Noel Aseko Nkili, who is on loan with Hannover 96:
West Ham United may still have a sliver of hope regarding a potential summer deal for Bayern Munich youngster Noel Aseko. Because, according to reports out of Germany and contrary to what was previously claimed, the Hannover loanee may well be sold for the right price after all.
Following new claims from Sky Germany, West Ham United should not be giving up hope just yet. Sky say that Aseko’s future at Bayern remains ‘uncertain’, despite the fact he is clearly extremely highly-regarded behind the scenes at the Allianz Arena. While Transfermarkt mentioned West Ham as a potential destination, Roma, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Premier League rivals Aston Villa and Brighton, are now thrown into the ring.
It is believed that Bayern would ‘consider’ a sale in the region of £10 million.
All of the vultures are waiting to circle around the corpse of Tottenham Hotspur, but Spurs are fighting to avoid relegation. Many expect there to be a mass exodus should the unthinkable happen and if so, Manchester United would like to grab center-back Micky van de Ven:
Manchester United are considering making a move to sign Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven, as they are targeting an imposing left-footed center back, according to The Athletic. The 25-year-old Netherlands international is expected to attract plenty of interest this summer, regardless of whether or not Spurs stay in the Premier League at the end of the season, with Liverpool also in the running. *If you are looking for more Bayern Munich and German national team coverage, check out the latest episodes of Bavarian Podcast Works, which you can get on Acast, Spotify, Apple, or any leading podcast distributor…*
