Michael Olise (24) won the award for Best Frenchman Abroad during the UNFP Awards ceremony, held in Paris on Monday night.
Olise, in his first season at Bayern Munich following his move from Crystal Palace, has excelled. In 50 matches in all competitions, he has 22 goals and 26 assists. He has helped lead Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title, whilst he also led the club to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, where they came unstuck against reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain.
He succeeds Real Madrid forward and France captain Kylian Mbappé in taking home the prestigious award. There was stiff competition to win the award this season. Olise beat the likes of Mbappé; William Saliba, who could yet win a Premier League-Champions League double with Arsenal; Rayan Cherki, who is still in with a shout of winning the PL in his debut season at Manchester City; and forward , who broke into the France set-up prior to his major injury.

Olise succeeded Kylian Mbappé and faced competition from players like William Saliba, Rayan Cherki, and Hugo Ekitiké to win the prestigious award.
