Bayern Munich set a Bundesliga goals record with 102 goals this season, highlighted by Leon Goretzka's goal in a 2-0 victory over St. Pauli. The team remains focused as they prepare for their upcoming Champions League match against Real Madrid.

Bayern Munich would have been excused from easing up a bit after setting a Bundesliga goals record in order to conserve some energy for their big Champions League task against Real Madrid.
But that is simply not how Vincent Kompany's team works.
Leon Goretzka scored the landmark 102nd league goal of the season in the 53rd minute for a 2-0 lead at lowly St Pauli following Jamal Musiala's opener.
But the match ended 5-0 because Michael Olise, Nocolas Jackson and Raphael Guerreiro also found the net to bring the season tally to 105.
Hungry until the end
"What I like the most is that these players donāt stop, they keep going even after the fourth or fifth goal," Bayern honorary president Uli Hoeness said in admiration.
"Thatās how you break records ā and most important, thatās how you make the fans happy, game after game.ā
Kompany said: "What I find good in general is that our team stands for goals. Thatās just what FC Bayern and also our team are about. I think the boys should be proud of it ā but of course, we carry on.ā
Next up Real
Kompany could afford to rest the likes of Harry Kane for the big match on Wednesday against record winners Real when Bayern want to complete the quarter-final job after a 2-1 win in Spain and remain on course for a title treble.
Board member for sport Max Eberl said Bayern enter the match with "controlled euphoria" and Goretzka said that "we don't have to be warned, we know exactly who we are playing.
"Itāll still be a huge challenge against Real Madrid. Weāre playing at home, where we feel very comfortable, and the opponents usually donāt. Weāve put ourselves in a good position thanks to the first leg, but thereās still work to be done," Goretzka said.
Good attitude
The midfielder who will leave after eight years in summer claimed he was unaware that his volley bettered the record but he also highlighted the whole team's attitude.
"Many little things come together, and eventually that momentum builds, like a locomotive that starts rolling. And we just want to keep it rolling," he said.
The goal record stood at 101 for 54 years from 1971-72 from a team including Gerd Müller, Hoeness who netted the 100th and Franz Beckenbauer who got the final one.
Previous Bayern teams with Karl-Heinz Rummenigge/Paul Breitner, Setfan Effenberg/Giovane Elber, Franch Ribery/Arjen Robben and Robert Lewandowski/Thomas Müller came close before the record finally fell.
With five games left, the final tally could be considerably higher, even if Bayern already clinch a 35th national title next Sunday, for which they need to earn one point more against VfB Stuttgart than Borussia Dortmund achieve in Hoffenheim.
Goretzka said that Bayern "suffocate" their opponents and that "we leave everything switched on" until the final whistle because Kompany doesn't tolerate any kind of negligence.
Bright future
Hoeness meanwhile said that the fact that this team have broken our record after so many decades "says a lot.
"It pleased me that a young lad like Lennart Karl scored the 100th goal last week ā that shows FC Bayern are also equipped for the future. And the same goes for Jamal Musiala, who more than deserved the 101st goal after a long time out injured," he said.
Musiala, 23, hit the post and had an assist after his diving header for the opening goal in his first start since last month suffering a pain reaction in the ankle he severely injured last summer.
Confident Musiala
That should end a debate on his form and fitness which culminated in former Bayern goalkeeper and CEO Oliver Kahn suggested that Musiala should skip the upcoming World Cup.
"I defintely want to go to the World Cup," Musiala insisted.
"Iām pleased with my performance. Every minute I can get helps me. I saw today that Iāve taken a step forward. There are still a lot of steps I can take, but itās good progress. I feel that my foot is loosening up, itās also about patience. I feel a lot better now."
