Bayern transfer plans on £65m attacker after Jackson decision made
Bayern Munich have made the decision already that they will not sign Nicolas Jackson permanently from Chelsea in the summer.
Jackson joined Bayern on the transfer deadline day on loan from Chelsea, with Bavarian giants paying around €13.5m to secure his services.
Bayern had an obligation to sign him permanently for €65m, although that clause would only be triggered if Jackson starts 40 games across all competitions, which has not been the case.
Back in March, Christian Falk informed CFBayern that Bayern have already decided not to renegotiate a permanent deal for Jackson in the summer.
Last week, Max Eberl confirmed: “We will not trigger the option for Nicolas Jackson.”
Harry Kane has enjoyed a phenomenal campaign, and Jackson has been used a back-up option. While he has impressed with his performances and professionalism, Bayern were never likely to pay such a transfer fee to sign him permanently.
That means Jackson will return to Chelsea for the pre-season. He still has a long-term contract at the London club, and it remains to be seen if he is integrated into the first-team again.

Bayern are focussing on signing Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United, and they are quite serious about getting him.
Gordon would cost in the region of £65m, and Bayern are ready to pay the amount.
Kane is likely to sign a new contract at Bayern in the summer, and he has already stated his intentions to continue with the German club.
Now, will Bayern sign another back-up striker?
Christian Falk has toldCFBayern that Bayern are unlikely to do so. They believe that Gordon can be used in multiple roles including upfront as a striker.
The former Everton attacker is primarily a winger who can operate from both flanks, but he is also capable of playing as a striker.
That being said, anything can happen in a transfer window, and Bayern could change their plans if any top player becomes available in the market.
