The Chicago Bears have assigned jersey numbers to their 2026 draft class during rookie minicamp. Notably, center Logan Jones will wear No. 54, previously worn by Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher.
The Chicago Bears' 2026 draft class took the field for the first time on Friday as part of rookie minicamp, and they officially have their jersey numbers assigned. The Bears selected seven players during the draft, including safety Dillon Thieneman, center Logan Jones, tight end Sam Roush, and wide receiver Zavion Thomas during the first three rounds.
Thieneman's number was revealed shortly after he was drafted, but the most notable number assignment is Jones wearing No. 54. That number of course belonged to Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher, and it has not been used since he last played for the Bears in 2012. Jones will become the first player since he retired to wear it, assuming he doesn't change numbers before the regular season.
