"It's clear that new Bears head coach Ben Johnson had a vision for these pass catchers and how he'd build an offense around them," Solak writes. "It wasn't immediate."
Chicago's pair of 2025 rookies will face a big question in 2026, according to Solak: "What can Luther Burden III and Colston Loveland do with DJ Moore gone?" This question isn't a concerning one, but rather one fans can get excited about.

After trading DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills this offseason, Ben Johnson and Ryan Poles made their offensive plan clear.
Rome Odunze, Burden, and Loveland will be the main receiving trio this season. And with Odunze's injury issues last year, it would not be a surprise if Burden and Loveland turned into stars in 2026.
They already had very promising rookie seasons, with Burden recording 47 receptions for 652 yards and two touchdowns, while Loveland had 58 receptions for 713 yards and six touchdowns.
Now, with Moore gone, and his 50 receptions for 682 yards and six touchdowns now up for grabs, these two 2025 draft picks should be in store for a huge season in 2026.
The question regarding these two isn't whether they can be a good player, but rather how good they can be in year two with a full offseason to get ingrained in the offense.
Loveland and Burden have the chance to break out into All-Pro level players in 2026, especially now that Moore is gone. It's going to be a very fun 2026 season for this 2025 rookie duo in their second year together.
