Everything continues to just crash down for the New York Mets, a very unfortunate situation for a team that desperately wants to figure it out. The Mets just aren't playing the type of baseball they were expected to play entering the year, and they've tried a few creative ways to fix it.

I understand where Mendoza is coming from here, and I don't necessarily disagree with him. However, the last thing he should be doing is coming out and getting mad at guys.
The Mets have so many problems that it's impossible to get mad at one player for some of the issues we've seen this year. In the same breath, Ibåñez absolutely needs to make these plays, as they're as routine as they get in Major League Baseball.
