Jim Bentley will step down as manager of Morecambe at the end of the season but will continue with the club in another capacity. His return in February did not prevent the team from being relegated to National League North, marking their third consecutive relegation.

Morecambe have announced that manager Jim Bentley will step down from his position at the end of the season but remain with the club.
Bentley returned for a second spell in charge in February on a deal until the end of the campaign but was unable to stop the Shrimps from being relegated to National League North.
The Lancashire club have now suffered three successive relegations.
They said in a statement that Bentley will "support the club's development across both footballing and non-footballing areas".
"I am delighted that we will continue to benefit from his undoubted passion, knowledge and experience of all things Morecambe to help drive the club forward once again," chairman Kuljeet Singh Momi told the club website.
"Not only is Jim a Morecambe footballing legend, and I thank him most sincerely for his efforts and contribution over the last three months, he is also a great ambassador for the club and his valuable input alongside our executive leadership team will be integral to the continued rebuild of our wonderful football club."
Bentley spent eight years in charge of the Shrimps between 2011 and 2019 and has also had spells in charge of Fylde, Rochdale and Southport.
He came back in February after Ashvir Singh Johal was sacked at the end of January with the club in 23rd place.
A run of one defeat in six built up hopes he could steer them to safety but they won just one of their next five and Saturday's 5-1 hammering at Woking confirmed their relegation to regional football with two games to play.
Jim Bentley is stepping down due to the team's poor performance, having won only four out of 16 games during his second spell, which resulted in relegation.
Jim Bentley will remain with Morecambe in a different capacity after stepping down as manager at the end of the season.
Morecambe has suffered three consecutive relegations, culminating in their drop to the National League North.
