Wilson defeated Exeter 6-1 in a BCIAA Division 1 softball game, led by Shannon Bratton's 10 strikeouts. Governor Mifflin edged Muhlenberg 14-13 in a thrilling extra innings match.
Sophomore pitcher Shannon Bratton struck out 10 as Wilson scored a 6-1 victory over Exeter on Monday in a BCIAA Division 1 softball game.
Bratton, who had a double and RBI, allowed just one unearned run and five hits for the Bulldogs (12-2, 8-0 Division 1). Rylea Fick went 3 for 3 with a double, and Kaya Werley doubled and drove in two runs.
Jillian Warner had two hits for the Eagles (9-6, 5-3 Division 1).
Governor Mifflin 14, Muhlenberg 13
Reilly Martin blasted two home runs as Governor Mifflin outscored Muhlenberg 14-13 in a Division 1 game on Monday that went to extra innings.
Muhlenberg took a 13-9 lead in the top of the seventh by scoring seven runs, but the Mustangs sent the game to extra innings by scoring four in the bottom of the frame. They then won the game in the bottom of the eighth with a run. Abby Brunelli pitched one inning to get the win, sending the Muhls down one-two-three in the top of the eighth.
Martin was 4 for 5 with 4 RBIs, and two singles to go along with the two home runs. Raeya Hoover was 2 for 3 with 4 RBIs.
The Mustangs were aided by nine walks issued by Muhlenberg pitchers.
For the Muhls, Blanca Ramos was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 RBIs.
The Mustangs are 3-11, 3-5 Division 1; Muhlenberg is 4-6, 2-5 Division 1.
Tulpehocken 11, Oley Valley 3
Liv Kiwak and Ember Sunday each drove in two runs as Tulpehocken held onto to first place in Division 4 with an 11-3 win over Oley Valley.
Also for the Trojans (7-5, 5-3 Division 4), Aubrey Campbell went 3 for 5 and winning pitcher Molly Goldberg struck out 5 and allowed 7 hits and no earned runs.
Oley Valley is 2-11, 1-7 Division 4.
Hamburg 13, Wyomissing 2: Norah Davey 3 for 4, triple, 4 runs scored, 3 RBIs, Mackenzie Hoover triple, double, 1 RBI, Brianna Mengel 2 RBIs, Kaida Chwatek 2 RBIs, Ava Epting 2 innings pitched, 5 strikeouts, Molly Krick 5 innings pitched, 3 strikeouts, 3 hits, 2 earned runs. Hamburg is 12-2 overall, 8-0 Division 3; Wyomissing is 4-9, 3-5 Division 4.

Conrad Weiser 19, Harrisburg Christian 7: Kylie Hasinec 5 goals, Amber Gilmer 4 goals, Olivia Allen 4 goals.
Governor Mifflin 19, Garden Spot 5: Lex Huesgen 5 goals.
Shannon Bratton struck out 10 batters and contributed offensively with a double and an RBI, leading Wilson to a 6-1 victory.
Governor Mifflin won 14-13 against Muhlenberg in a Division 1 game that went into extra innings, with Reilly Martin hitting two home runs.
Wilson has a record of 12-2 overall and 8-0 in Division 1, while Governor Mifflin's record stands at 14-13.
