Barcelona faced off against Alaves at the Mendizorrotza Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure all three points on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club made a solid start to the game but conceded the opener in the first half injury-time when Ibrahim Diabate got his name on the scoresheet. Barca went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Hansi Flickβs men failed to mount a comeback in the second 45 minutes and crashed to a lackluster 1-0 loss away from home.
