Bernardo sets record for Premier League wins with City
City’s 1-0 victory over Burnley on Wednesday night saw Bernardo Silva register his 215th win in the Premier League and set a new City record in the process.
The club captain has now won more Premier League games with City than anyone else, moving ahead of David Silva on 214.
Former goalkeeper Ederson is the only other man to win more than 200 times in the Premier League with City, earning three points on 205 occasions.
Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho round out the top five with 197 successes each.
For Bernardo, who confirmed last week that he will leave at the end of the season, it’s yet another milestone in what has been a spectacular City career.
The Portuguese midfielder has played 453 times in a City shirt, more than anyone else since he arrived in 2017.

299 of his 453 City outings have come in the Premier League, meaning he’s won an astonishing 72% of his games in the English top-flight.
That’s contributed to a stunning haul of six titles in eight complete seasons, with the No.20 now skippering the side that’s in the mix for yet another top spot.
Only five players have ever lifted the famous trophy more than Bernardo, with all of those playing in the Premier League longer than our captain.
In total, he has lifted 19 major honours with City and is our joint-most decorated player alongside Kevin De Bruyne and John Stones.
It all points to his incredible consistency and work ethic over his time in Manchester, having arrived at City as a talented playmaker and developed into Pep Guardiola’s most trusted lieutenant.
