Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are reportedly close to signing a two-fight agreement that would finally bring them together in the ring for one of boxing’s most highly anticipated matchups.
According to Fury’s team, they’ve already put pen to paper on their side of the deal, which has been years in the making.
The pair have been linked ever since they turned professional over a decade ago, but despite all the talk, they’ve never actually met inside the ropes.
Now, Eddie Hearn says they’re nearing a formal agreement for a November clash, with Joshua set to have a tune-up fight this summer.
That July bout will be shown on DAZN, while the main event later in the year is expected to land on Netflix.

Eddie Hearn has revealed to IFL TV that the deal between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is nearly finalised, though nothing has been officially signed yet. The two heavyweights crossed paths after Fury’s victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov, but Joshua didn’t step into the ring to confirm the fight then and there.
Netflix has already started promoting the fight for this Autumn, but it’s not clear if they’ll end up broadcasting it. While Netflix is in the mix, DAZN still holds exclusive rights to Joshua’s fights, which could complicate things.
Matchroom Boxing is set to handle promotion for Joshua’s July return on DAZN PPV. After that, Turki Alalshikh and Sela will take over for the Fury fight, although a broadcaster and venue have yet to be confirmed for that event.
“We will have a contract,” Hearn explained. “We haven’t signed a contract yet, but we are negotiating the final points in an agreement to come back to the ring in July and fight Tyson Fury. Once we sign up for that agreement it’s up to them for the staging.”
The warm-up fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is scheduled for July.
The 2027 return match is significant as it marks the culmination of years of anticipation for a fight that fans have long awaited.
Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have been linked as potential opponents for over a decade since they both turned professional.
