Boro & Saints tie balanced on knife edge after first-leg stalemate
Middlesbrough and Southampton play to a goalless draw in the first leg of the Championship play-off semi-final.
The BIG TEN TOURNAMENT Final between #2 Nebraska and #6 UCLA has been rescheduled to 12:00 PM CST due to inclement weather concerns. Fans can find details on how to watch and listen to the game.
The most important news pre-game is the start time being moved up due to inclement weather.
Game time is now 12:00pm CST (1pm Eastern if you’re here in Maryland)
It appears the system has shifted and chances of rain reduced overnight, but last night’s forecast made it look like rain was likely literally starting around gametime and lasting a few hours. Better to kick off early and assure they get it in.
The game will still be broadcast on the Big 10 Network.
The game is now scheduled for 12:00 PM CST.
The game time was moved up due to concerns about inclement weather, specifically the likelihood of rain.

UCLA (47-7, 20-4 Big Ten – tied 2nd)
This will be short and sweet.
The UCLA offensive numbers are Playstation on Novice level ridiculous. The team hits .389 with 181 HR’s, an On-base% of .499 and and OPS of a staggering 1.344. Eight of their hitters are in double figures in home runs. If you saw Megan Grant’s record-tying 37 homers above, please note she’s only a few ahead of teammate Jordan Woolery with 33. Woolery also leads the team with 107 RBI’s.
In 54 games.
Tinsley tries to keep the opposition at bay as best she can and the team’s blowouts have kept her innings in check. She is 28-5 with a 2.77 ERA and a WHIP of 1.378. The WHIP is solid, but not spectacular and shows it’s possible to get runners on against her.

I’m going to make a guess that Sammie moves up a spot as she is red-hot right now and wreaks havoc on the base-paths when she gets aboard. Other than that, I’m not expecting a big shuffle even with a couple quieter games.
And there’s a better chance of the game being cancelled due to asteroid strike than anyone other than Frahm starting this game.
