In an unusual move that we’ve rarely seen, the Buffalo Bills announced their full three-game preseason schedule along with the regular-season schedule.
While the first event to be held at the new Highmark Stadium is going to be the annual Blue and Red practice on Saturday, Aug. 9, the first game will be Saturday, Aug. 15 at 1 p.m. against the Carolina Panthers.
The Bills will go on the road to play the Cleveland Browns at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, and will close the preseason at home for a 7 p.m. start against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday, Aug. 27.
With the AFC teams getting only eight home regular-season games this season, that means they host two in the preseason, and for the Bills, it presents two opportunities to work out the kinks in the new building.
