Buffalo Bills receiver Keon Coleman was a big watch as the offseason rolled on, and even more so during the draft.

With his future thought to be on shaky ground after the train wreck of a press conference with Bills owner Terry Pegula, some thought Keon's time in Buffalo was over.

But general manager Brandon Beane, since that press conference, has publicly backed the under-fire receiver, and that has continued post-draft.

Speaking on local radio station WGR-550, Beane revealed teams have called Buffalo about Keon, but the franchise shut it down, while detailing his expectations for Coleman in 2026.

"We had some people connect with us in Indy, at least one team there, and a couple between there and the owners meetings. But we shut those down," Beane said via ESPN. "Our intention is for Keon to be here, and so I think the word was kind of out. So, no calls this weekend.

"... We've hit the reset button with him, and hopefully the fan base and everyone's behind him. I think his best year is yet to come here in 2026."

Coleman set for defining 2026 season

Entering Year 3, for Keon to have the best year of his career, he'd need to have over 556 yards and 4 TDs. Is that doable? Absolutely.

But the question is, can he?

Having reported off-field issues last season that led to his benching, Coleman has to sort them out and get on the field consistently.

He has the quarterback; he's got the offensive wizard calling the plays. Now Keon has to take his chance whenever it comes. Year 3 is looming as a big one for Coleman. He's got the backing from his coach and general manager.

Now, he's got to repay that faith.
