For a while, it seemed like the Buffalo Bills were on a track toward trading Keon Coleman.
Apparently, that track had a dead end. Coleman is staying put.
Bills GM Brandon Beane told reporters that they've shut down inquiries from other teams as far as trying to deal for Coleman.
"We had some people connect with us in Indy, at least one team there, and a couple between there and the owners meetings. But we shut those down," Beane told reporters on Monday. "Our intention is for Keon to be here, and so I think the word was kind of out. So, no calls this weekend... We've hit the reset button with him, and hopefully the fan base and everyone's behind him. I think his best year is yet to come here in 2026."

Coleman was an early second-round pick in 2024 who showed a bit of promise as a rookie and then started showing up late to meetings in 2025, resulting in benchings.
He's still athletic and lanky and filled with potential, but Bills owner Terry Pegula basically threw Coleman under the bus after the Bills fired Sean McDermott. It was the kind of bad vibe situation that didn't seem likely to end well.
The Bills also have a crowded WR depth chart. They return Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer and Tyrell Shavers. They traded for DJ Moore. They drafted Skyler Bell.
If Coleman were to be traded, it likely wouldn't be for a receiver but instead a different position or a draft asset.
That seems to be a moot point now, though.
As long as Beane is being genuine, Coleman will be with the Bills in 2026. It'll be up to him to make up for his shortcomings and find a way to make an impact.
Buffalo needs better WR play for Josh Allen, no matter who it comes from. If Coleman still has some upside left, it's time for him to start tapping into it.
