The Buffalo Bills will be an interesting watch in Joe Brady's first draft, as the franchise has several key needs that they could address.
Getting another receiver has been floated, so too another corner, but adding another edge rusher is also on the agenda.
But picking near the end of the first round, the Bills aren't going to be getting a blue-chip prospect, so who the franchise could look at is unknown.
However, NFL.com's Gennaro Filice has the Bills taking Texas A&M's Cashius Howell in his latest mock draft.
“Already possessing a pair of sizable starting outside linebackers in Greg Rousseau and Bradley Chubb, the sack-hungry Bills could be intrigued by this fastball off the edge,” Filice wrote. “Howell’s 30 1/4-inch arm length is a legit concern, but new Bills defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard spent the past two years in Denver watching Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper terrorize quarterbacks with substandard measurements.”

For a team that has a first-time head coach, that might seem like an odd statement, but the Bills have Josh Allen in his prime, so it is Super Bowl or bust for Buffalo.
Let's not forget, Sean McDermott was fired for the constant playoff failures, so Brady isn't exactly going to get a pass in 2026. Although he might have some leeway, given that it is his first season.
But the Bills have to at least win a playoff game, if not more, in 2026; otherwise, things in Buffalo could get rather tense.
This is a team that needs to break through in the postseason, having gotten so close for so long, and adding a player like Howell could help improve the defense, even slightly.
But will that be enough? I'm not so sure.
