The football analytics outlet released a Round 1 projection ahead of the 2026 draft and the Buffalo Bills trade out of the No. 26 pick the team holds in Round 1. The other team in the deal is a shocker: the Miami Dolphins.
Buffalo sends the No. 26 selection to Miami for the No. 30 pick. The Bills would get more in return than just that, but PFF does not have the full trade details listed.
Regardless, the two teams would be promising trade partners. Buffalo only has the No. 26 and 91 picks in the first three rounds of this year's draft. The Dolphins hold 11 total.
In the end, Miami moves up to select Miami (FL) edge defender Akheem Mesidor. The Bills land on Oregon offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon at 30.

It feels like the Bills could take many avenues if they stay in the first round, including linebacker, receiver or defensive line. But interior offensive line is a sneaky position considering the departure of David Edwards, plus the impending free agency of O’Cyrus Torrence. Pregnon (86.7 overall PFF grade) and his versatile skill-set would compete to start the bat next to new Bill Austin Corbett.
