On Saturday for the Toronto Blue Jays, he did it five times -- five base hits, including a home run, on a 5-for-5 standout day for the Jays' contact wizard.

He also made history in the process of his big day.
There have now been just five Blue Jays to have multiple five-hit games while wearing a Toronto uniform. Clement has now notched two such games.

Also a cool tidbit about Clement's five-hit game: The Blue Jays' last two five-hit games have both been recorded by Ernie.
He's certainly an old-school hitter, swinging early and often and making lots of contact without tons of power.
But when every time you make contact, you get a hit, that's always going to be a good day at the office, no matter what era of baseball it is.
