Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix had a scheduled check-in with his ankle surgeon Dr. Waldrop this last week, according to 850 KOA's Benjamin Albright. This routine check-up is likely to confirm what fans and Broncos officials already know: Nix is back.
According to several team officials, Nix seems well ahead of schedule on his recovery from a fractured ankle suffered in the AFC divisional playoff win over the Buffalo Bills. Nix had immediate surgery to repair the injury, and has been seen around the Broncos' Dove Valley facility during his recovery.
Nix was also been spotted at the Masters tournament by Hall of Famer Peyton Manning walking around with New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, and is in good health ahead of OTA's and minicamp, which begins in early May.
