I’m flying solo on this episode of the podcast as Ryan’s computer was updating and told him it would take over 2.5 hours. That’s a no from me on waiting that long. So instead I handled things and chatted with you all updates from the NBA Draft to include NBA Draft Combine invitations as well as the updated mock drafts. Then, I go into the news from the Big Ten about financial distributions. There’s a lot of cash floating around the Big Ten is what it basically comes down to and how Rutgers got themselves into such financial trouble is beyond me. But hey, that’s their problem and not mine.
Then, we continue our look at the basketball roster and look at Antoine West Jr. The redshirt freshman hasn’t played a real game in over a year and that’s always a tough spot to be in. The way people talk about him you’d think he was the second coming and perhaps the first athlete Purdue has ever had. I think some folks need to tamp down expectations for him next season. I’m looking forward to seeing him play but I think we’ve gotta see him play before we go off the deep end.
