BOSTON â The 2026 Boston Marathon has more than 30,000 runners heading to the starting line Monday, April 20 in Hopkinton for the 26.2-mile race, including 90 runners from Seacoast New Hampshire and southern Maine.
Many runners qualify by running for charities. They include York High School graduate Ashley Lomasney, who is running as part of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute marathon team in support of her family's history of cancer.
Cooper Miller, a 2025 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas is the youngest Seacoast runner, at the age of 19, in the field for the second consecutive year.

Also, Karen Fogg, 59, will be running in her 18th consecutive Boston Marathon, this time will be joined by her daughter, Sydney Fogg.
