Bournemouth working to keep key talent as clubs circle
Bournemouth are working to retain the club’s top talent this summer as rival sides consider offers.
The Cherries have climbed to sixth in the Premier League with an exiting young side currently 16 league games unbeaten.
Their form has led to regular scouts in attendance with expectations that interest will again emerge in big names. Last summer, Bournemouth sold Dean Huijsen, Illia Zabarnyi and Milos Kerkez to Champions League clubs, while Antoine Semenyo signed for Manchester City in January.
Bournemouth are anticipating interest in Eli Kroupi Junior, who has scored 12 league goals. The 19-year-old has admirers at Arsenal and both Manchester clubs, and is the second-highest scoring teenager across Europe’s top-five leagues, behind Lamine Yamal. Kroupi Junior does not have a release clause, which leaves Bournemouth in a strong position.
Though an exit for Kroupi Junior has not been ruled out, Bournemouth are more confident of keeping Rayan and Alex Scott.

According to the BBC, the Cherries are set to offer Scott a new deal to ward off interest from Chelsea. The 22-year-old earned his first England call-up earlier this season.
Rayan has impressed since arriving from Vasco de Gama in January. The Brazilian winger has scored in each of his last three appearances but is in no rush to leave.
He’s prepared to commit to another season of development, at least, at Bournemouth. Rayan has a release clause of €100m (£86.4m) in his contract at the Vitality Stadium.
