DAZN, 5:00 am ET, Skye Nicolson vs Mariah Turner. From Flemington, Australia. For Nicolsonās WBC interim super bantamweight title. Australia vs New Zealand in the main event, where both fighters have just one blemish on their pro records. Teremoana Teremoana fights in support in an eight-rounder, though I wouldnāt expect it to last anywhere near that long. Also on the undercard is Jonte Metaxas, who shares a last name with a⦠politically complicated former Greek Prime Minister/dictator who inspired Oxi Day, one Greeceās biggest national holidays.
DAZN, 2:00 pm ET, Chaos in the Ring. From Lagos, Nigeria. The main event here is Carter Efe vs Portable. Carter Efe is an āonline streamer and comedianā who uses a blackface photo of himself as profile photos on Twitch and Twitter. Portable is described as ācontroversial,ā presumably over multiple arrests for assault. But, heās also described as āone of the more credible fighters among Nigerian entertainers who have stepped into the ring in recent years.ā So⦠There you go. This is not just Nigerian sub-Misfits, though. There are also professionals fighting in support.
ProBoxTV, 7:00 pm ET, Tsendbaatar Erdenebat vs Cobia Breedy. From Hanover, Maryland. Breedyās only pro loss came to Tugstsogt Nyambayar, better known as āKing Tug,ā the highest profile Mongolian boxer of recent years that you may remember from his fights against Gary Russell and Chris Colbert. Iāll admit I get Erdenebat confused with King Tug all the time, as there arenāt that many Mongolian fighters out there at the world level. But, this the younger, undefeated Erdenebat, who has fought on ProBox shows five times already. A vacant, minor WBC super featherweight title is UP FOR GRABS.
The key matches include Naoya Inoue vs Junto Nakatani and David Benavidez vs Zurdo Ramirez.
The fight between Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani will take place in Australia.

David Benavidez's opponent on May 1, 2026, is Zurdo Ramirez.

DAZN PPV, 5:40 am ET, Naoya Inoue vs Junto Nakatani. From Tokyo, Japan. For Inoueās undisputed super bantamweight (WBC, WBO, IBF, WBA) titles. One of, if not the absolute, best fights possible in the sport of boxing today. Inoue has started showing the slightest of cracks in his invincible aura as heās moved up and up into the fifth weight class where heās won a world title. Nakatani is five years younger, and facing his most frequent comp in terms of smaller fighter excitement and all-around excellence. Not sure what it costs to see this one as a standalone PPV, because DAZN is VERY cagey about putting that number out in public. Undercard features Takuma Inoue defending his WBC bantamweight belt against Kazuto Ioka. BLH will have live updates
DAZN, 2:00 pm ET, Conah Walker vs Sam Eggington. From Wolverhampton, England. Tragic, but understandable, that a domestic level fight like this gets overshadowed on such a busy day for boxing. But, both men have brought great entertainment in the past, and this has Fight of the Year of the Week potential. Good matchups down the roster, honestly, with Bilal Fawaz defending his pair of domestic belts against Ryan Kelly, plus Kieron Conway vs Mark Jeffers.
Amazon Prime PPV/DAZN PPV, 8:00 pm ET, David Benavidez vs Gilberto āZurdoā Ramirez. From Las Vegas, Nevada, for Ramirezās WBO and WBA cruiserweight titles. Benavidez makes the jump from light heavyweight, where he holds two world titles, to make the megafight with reigning unified cruiserweight champion Ramirez. DAZNās landing page for this one shows the same PPV price as Prime, at $79.99. There are articles out there indicating this will be part of the DAZN Ultimate package, but this is a PBC topline promotion, and I can tell you that the Inoue-Nakatani fight doesnāt show any sort of individual fight PPV price the way this one does. I wonāt tell you itās part of the package, because I donāt know for sure and I donāt want to mislead anyone. But, Iām sure our regulars that have an Ultimate subscription will share their observations in the comments below. Armando Resendiz fights Jaime Munguia in support, where Oscar Duarte also appears. Prelims start at 5:30 pm. BLH will have live updates
DAZN, 11:00 am ET, Top Tier Boxing. From London, England. Main event is Yaser Al Ghena defending his three domestic/Euro belts against Bradley Townsend. Sam Noakes appears on the undercard in an eight-rounder.
