The Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association track and field championships will be held May 15-16 at Warwick Valley High School.
The boys conducted five finals (one non-scoring) on Friday, and a handful of preliminary events, setting up Saturday's finals.
Warwick's Klaus Lindenau won the pole vault at 14 feet 6 inches - it marks the 11th time in the past 13 meets that a Warwick vaulter has won. Warwick's Leo Shostal won the 3,200-meter run in 9:21.41. Monticello's Senecere Wall-Thomas won the discus by more than five feet in 159-10. Beacon's Jayden Mihalchik won the javelin (non-scoring event) by ten feet at 136-4.
Valley Central won the 3,200-meter relay in 7:57.34.
