Brandel Chamblee is one of the most outspoken golf analysts in the game and, often, it has been Bryson DeChambeau who has borne the brunt of his criticism.
DeChambeau’s move to LIV Golf back in 2022 made him an easy target for Chamblee.
And the American golf analyst has opened up his war of words with DeChambeau once again by making a new claim about how Augusta National were forced into changing one of their rules due to the two-time U.S. Open champion.
Bryson DeChambeau endured an absolute nightmare at Augusta National last week, after missing the cut at The Masters.

Brandel Chamblee must have been watching on with delight as the 32-year-old, and the vast majority of the LIV Golf contingent at The Masters, struggled around Augusta National.
Rory McIlroy won this year’s Masters in style on Sunday, becoming only the fourth man in history to defend his title at Augusta National.
However, since the 36-year-old’s sixth major victory, there have been some truly incredulous takes on the amount of practice rounds he played in the lead-up to the tournament.
Some claimed that McIlroy had an unfair advantage on the rest of The Masters field due to the amount of times he had played Augusta during the weeks leading up to the first major of the season.
And when discussing that point, Chamblee digressed to something he has heard about a situation caused by DeChambeau, which led to Augusta National changing one of their long-standing rules.
When speaking on The Favorite Chamblee Podcast, the American golf analyst highlighted how Augusta actually had to change their practice round rules for amateurs after DeChambeau ‘abused the privilege’.
“The thing about social media is that we all have it. We all read it, but it also allows literally the dumbest people on Earth to have a say in things,“ Chamblee said.

*“*Literally, the dumbest people on the Earth can talk now, and garner attention.
*“*And this is a very competitive field, the dumbest thing ever said in the history of social media, criticism about Rory going up to play Augusta prior to The Masters is literally now the single dumbest thing.
*“*Every single professional golfer either can or has done exactly what Rory did, from Jack Nicklaus to Tom Watson, you name it.
*“*Throughout the year, they fly up there. If you’ve qualified for The Masters, you could go up there.
*“*You know, I heard that they stopped allowing amateurs to do it as much, because Bryson, it sounds like he abused the privilege, where he went up there, you know, so often, they were like, ‘Stop it’.
*“*Or maybe it was just, you know, Bryson was bothering them.
“You know, I don’t know.“
In fairness, that sounds like somewhat of a bitter, low blow by Chamblee.
It may well be true, but it just felt like it was another unnecessary cheap shot aimed at the LIV golfer from the former PGA Tour player.
DeChambeau is one of the most meticulous golfers in the professional game.
So it would be no surprise if he pushed his Augusta National practice round privileges to the limit.
However, it’s not something that he should be dragged over hot coals for either.
It seems like whatever Bryson DeChambeau does, Brandel Chamblee will always take a dim view of him.
Brandel Chamblee claims that Augusta National changed one of their rules specifically due to the impact of Bryson DeChambeau.
Chamblee has been critical of DeChambeau primarily due to his controversial move to LIV Golf and his unconventional playing style.
Bryson DeChambeau joined LIV Golf in 2022, which has been a focal point of criticism from analysts like Brandel Chamblee.
