The Atlanta Braves return to Truist Park and kick off the weekend with a three-game set against the Cleveland Guardians. The Braves enter play with an 8-5 record and are coming off a series win in Anaheim, where the run column was high, and emotions even higher. The Guardians come to town with the same record after a recent series win over the Kansas City Royals.
The series gets underway tonight at 7:15 ET, with Bryce Elder getting the nod against fellow right-hander Slade Cecconi. Game two is set for the same time Saturday night, as MartĂn PĂ©rez faces Parker Messick. The series will conclude Sunday night with Chris Sale starting things off at 7:20 ET.
The Braves havenât dropped a series yet this season, and theyâll aim to keep that perfect streak intact this weekend.
