The Atlanta Braves will have some decisions to make on Tuesday when Raisel Iglesias returns from injury. The Braves have multiple directions they can go with the roster move, and one possible candidate to be the odd man out is left-handed reliever Aaron Bummer.

“Think there's a decent chance the Braves DFA Bummer on Tuesday when Iglesias returns. Much easier option is Carrasco but they might want his rubber arm for the rest of the road trip. I suppose they could also send Ritchie down after Monday's start,” Battery Power’s Scott Coleman posted.

Bummer has not gotten off to a strong start in the first month of the season for Atlanta, which was not expected. The lefty has struggled to find consistency, and nothing seems to be clicking. There are also concerns about his velocity.

“Bummer's velocity drop is concerning, but he’s also just not the same pitcher this year as he’s been for the Braves in past seasons. Including Sunday’s game, Bummer faced 23 batters, gave up seven hits, including three home runs, struck out four, and walked one,” HTHB’s Fred Owens wrote.
