The incident occurred during the sixth inning on the afternoon of Thursday, April 16, at the Bronx-based stadium in New York City, according to Fox Sports and the New York Post.
A video of the incident uploaded to social media shows a fight breaking out between a handful of fans standing on the cement stairs between seats in a section of the stadium.
Several men are seen throwing punches, followed by some of them falling forward down the stairs.
A man in a red shirt is then seen stomping on the neck and chest of a man in a blue Yankees jersey who has fallen on his back, while several other men attempt to intervene.
The man in the red shirt is eventually dragged away from the area as onlookers yell, “Get him out of here!" and “F--- the Angels!”
The specific cause of the brawl during the Yankees vs. Angels game has not been disclosed.
