The great news for the Milwaukee Brewers is that outfielder Jackson Chourio returned from the injured list on Monday.
Chourio fractured his left hand during a World Baseball Classic exhibition game while playing for Venezuela. First baseman Andrew Vaughn has also returned for Milwaukee.
Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller wrote Tuesday that Chourio and Vaughn's return from the IL is bad for one player in particular and could lead the Brewers to make a trade.
"Both Jackson Chourio and Andrew Vaughn just came back from the IL on Monday, and the hope is that Christian Yelich won't be terribly far behind them," Miller wrote. "At that point, Bauers—who had started the vast majority of games at first base during Vaughn's absence—becomes the odd man out, but a respectable left-handed bat to put on the trade block. He has an .872 OPS with five home runs against righties thus far this season."
Jackson Chourio's return from injury creates competition for playing time, making another outfielder potentially expendable.

The return of Chourio and Vaughn could prompt the Brewers to trade an outfielder to balance the roster.

Bauers has decent power, hitting 12 home runs and seven in his first two seasons with the NL Central club.
As Miller mentioned, his prowess against right-handed pitching could garner the attention of teams around the Majors. His ability to play in the outfield or at first base makes him a useful player to have off the bench.
Chourio is far too good not to play every day. That puts Bauers in a difficult position moving forward. Perhaps a change of scenery would be best.
