The Milwaukee Brewers got some great news on Wednesday.
Quinn Priester is getting closer to his return from injury.
The Brewers have sent Priester to Triple-A Nashville to continue his rehab there:

Priester has yet to pitch in the 2026 MLB season.
The right-handed pitcher is coming off a stellar 2025 campaign, his first in Milwaukee. He went 13-3 with a 3.32 ERA in 157.1 innings that included 132 strikeouts.
Still just 25 years old, Priester was expected to be a key contributor for the Brewers this season but wasn't ready for Opening Day.

He hasn't made an official rehab start at any level yet, so it could still be at least a few outings until Priester is called up to MLB.
But if the Brewers can have him back in the pitching rotation by early May, that's a win. There'll still be a lot of season for Priester to make a difference.
And any time you can get a star player back after they weren't ready to play from the start of the season, it's a nice little moment. It's like a nice boost to an already strong roster.
