Bournemouth reach agreement to appoint Rose as Iraola successor
Bournemouth has reached an agreement to appoint Marco Rose as their new head coach, succeeding Andoni Iraola.
Alvin Kamara, the New Orleans Saints running back, is again predicted to be traded to the Denver Broncos, though his future remains uncertain. With the Saints adding Travis Etienne, Kamara's role has diminished, and he has expressed a preference to retire rather than play for another team.

The future of New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara certainly seems unclear. Kamara, who will turn 31 years old in July, is coming off what was easily the least-productive season of his career in 2025.
This offseason, the Saints added Travis Etienne in free agency, which will push Kamara down to the No. 2 role on offense. A change of scenery has been predicted for Kamara for the last couple of seasons, but he has stated that he would sooner retire than play for another team.
Still, those trade rumors persist and the team connected to them almost every time is the Denver Broncos. If Kamara were to be traded, a move to Denver would make sense. Sean Payton had him in New Orleans for several years and he experienced the best seasons in his career playing for him. The Broncos also have a need at the running back position.
There are several top players who have continually come up in trade talks this offseason, such as A.J. Brown being moved from the Philadelphia Eagles. But Kamara is another one, and Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report recently predicted Kamara being sent to the Broncos for a 2027 sixth-round pick. Here was his analysis:
"New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara may be coming off the worst season of his career, but he's still one of the bigger names who could be moved this offseason.
Kamara will turn 31 in July and is and coming off a sprained MCL. However, he remains a very capable receiving back who logged 33 passes in 11 games this past season. He may be viewed as expendable by the Saints, who signed Travis Etienne Jr. in free agency and who could save $3.4 million—or $11.5 million after June 1—by trading Kamara.
The Denver Broncos are the team that would make the most sense for Kamara. Denver has a promising young starter in RJ Harvey but could use a third-down specialist to pair with him and J.K. Dobbins. Kamara would fit the description.
And while Kamara hinted last season that he'd prefer to retire than play outside of New Orleans, a reunion with Sean Payton and a shot at a Super Bowl might convince him to make the move."
It seems likely that the Broncos will be looking to add a running back in the upcoming NFL draft and there are some solid options out there. After already re-signing J.K. Dobbins, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie this offseason, the Broncos have a lot of similar backs and though much more experienced, Kamara shares many of the same traits as those players. They also have RJ Harvey, who has often drawn comparisons to Kamara.
The Broncos need a guy who can come in and spell Dobbins and Harvey to grind out tough yardage in key situations. That was the player the team didn't have and sorely needed during last season's playoff run. This player can be found in the draft if the Broncos happen to land a guy like Notre Dame's Jadarian Price or Arkansas' Mike Washington Jr.

The priority for the team should be to find the future of their running game in the draft. If they don't get what they want or come away from the draft without a running back, then a trade for Kamara could be considered. Though Kamara has stated he only wants to play in New Orleans, it's clear that his role will be reduced going forward, and the thought of playing for a top contender and his former head coach could be a perfect way for him to finish his career.

The predictions stem from Kamara's declining role with the Saints after the addition of Travis Etienne and his previous successful seasons under Broncos coach Sean Payton.
Kamara is currently the No. 2 running back for the Saints, coming off the least-productive season of his career in 2025.
Kamara has stated that he would rather retire than play for another team, indicating his strong preference to stay with the Saints.
Speculation suggests that Kamara could be traded to the Broncos for a 2027 sixth-round pick, according to recent analysis.
