The Denver Broncos quarterback is looking healthy and ready to take on the 2026 season. Bo Nix was seen at The Masters and was “very healthy walking around.” A good sign for Broncos country as the franchise quarterback appears to be ahead of schedule with his rehab.
While the 2026 NFL Draft is just days away, the biggest news coming out of Denver surrounds quarterback Bo Nix. As all of Broncos Country is well aware, during the win over the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round, Nix broke his ankle and his season was over.
I will die on the hill that if Nix was playing against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game, Denver would have gone to the Super Bowl.
However, that wasn’t the case as quarterback Jarrett Stidham needed to come in for relief, and we all know how that turned out.
With the season rapidly approaching, the devout fan base got an exciting injury update for their star quarterback. It looks like he’s ahead of the game in terms of rehab and should be available to the team once the new season begins.
An exciting and much-needed update for the Denver Broncos and their future.
Jim Nantz appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” and discussed what he saw from Nix at The Masters. Again, the update is an exciting one for Broncos Country.

“There were a lot of NFL guys hanging around Augusta,” Nantz said. “I ran into Drake Maye, I ran into Bo Nix, who looked very healthy here. He was walking around.”
Bo Nix, looking “very healthy,” is a good sign for his rehabilitation. Just him being able to walk around the golf course was a sight to see, according to Nantz.
“It was fascinating, Bo and Drake took the whole Augusta experience in together,” Nantz said. “And you said it earlier, the undulation, the grade at Augusta, it is up and down more than anybody could ever imagine. So Bo and Drake spent a couple of days together hanging out.”
The news from Nantz comes just weeks after the annual owner’s meeting, in which Nix was reportedly a full go for the team’s offseason program with zero limitations. He’s fully recovered from his ankle surgery and is actually further along than he typically is in his offseason conditioning program. Nix wants to get back on the field desperately.

Now, it’s just about finishing the job.
If Nix really is as far along as advertised and “very healthy” checks out once training camp rolls around, the Broncos aren’t just getting their quarterback back, they’re getting their Super Bowl hopes back. Everything this team wants to accomplish in 2026 hinges on No. 10 being ready to go.
And based on everything we’re hearing, Broncos Country should feel pretty good about that.

If Bo Nix remains healthy, his presence could significantly improve the Broncos' chances in the upcoming season.
