The Denver Broncos met with running back Adam Randall ahead of the 2026 NFL draft. Randall, a former wide receiver, is projected to be a fourth or fifth-round pick, fitting Denver's draft strategy.
The Denver Broncos met with at least eight running backs ahead of the 2026 NFL draft.
One of those meetings featured the team making a trip to Clemson to visit with Adam Randall, according to a report from KPRC-TV's Aaron Wilson. Randall (6-3, 232 pounds) ran a 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and bench-pressed 225 pounds 26 times at the NFL combine earlier this offseason.
NFL.com's Lance Zierlein has Randall projected as a fourth or fifth-round pick, and that could be a sweet spot for Denver to add a running back. The Broncos hold a pair of selections in the fourth round (Nos. 108 and 111) and a fifth-round pick (No. 170) this spring. Denver's first pick is No. 62 overall in the second round, but it's hard to imagine that selection being used on a running back with J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey both returning in 2026.
Back to Randall — he's a converted wide receiver who switched to running back during his junior season in 2024. In his lone year as a full-time running back, Randall rushed 168 times for 814 yards and 10 touchdowns last fall. He also totaled 36 receptions for 254 yards and three scores as a senior, earning honorable mention All-ACC recognition.
Denver holds seven picks in the 2026 NFL draft, which will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25. Randall, a potential Day 3 target, could make sense as a dynamic weapon for coach Sean Payton's offense.
Adam Randall rushed 168 times for 814 yards and 10 touchdowns in his only season as a full-time running back.
The Broncos hold two fourth-round picks (Nos. 108 and 111) and one fifth-round pick (No. 170) in the 2026 NFL draft.
The Broncos are considering Adam Randall as a potential running back option, as he fits their draft strategy for the upcoming 2026 NFL draft.
