Following the 2026 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos signed a group of 14 undrafted free agents. This will be the beginning of our annual look at those players in the undrafted rookie spotlight.
The Broncos already have one of the most impressive track records in league history in terms of signing players who weren't selected in the draft. Rod Smith, the best wide receiver in team history, was undrafted. Chris Harris Jr., one of the best cornerbacks in team history, was also undrafted. In more recent years, the team has gotten great contributions from undrafted players such as C.J. Anderson, Shaquil Barrett and Phillip Lindsay.
It seems nearly every season, at least one undrafted free agent makes the Broncos' 53-man roster.

Harvey played in 43 games with the Yellow Jackets, recording four interceptions in his college career.
The biggest knock on him coming to the professional level is going to be his size. Big, physical wide receivers are going to be able to take advantage of that, which could force the Broncos to move him inside to the nickelback spot. It will also be questionable how effective he can be against the run.
When players lack physical traits, they often make up for them in the mental game. Harvey is a smart, instinctive player who, despite being small, is not afraid to stick his head down and make a tackle or do his best to be physical.
He will have a lot to prove at the next level and will need to show the team that he can be sticky in coverage and make tackles, or at the very least, slow down ball carriers in the open field.
Chances to make 53-man roster (1-10 scale): 2
The Broncos are fairly deep at cornerback with Pat Surtain II, Riley Moss and Ja'Quan McMillian. The team still has last year's first-round pick, Jahdae Barron, and Kris Abrams-Draine, but there could still be room for a developmental cornerback on the back end of this roster.
But Harvey will be starting at the bottom of the ladder, or very close to it. He will need to take advantage of every rep he gets in camp and every snap he gets in the preseason. It wouldn't hurt to add some bulk in the weight room as well.
With undrafted players, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, making an impression on special teams is all but a must if a player wants to make the 53-man roster. Still, Harvey's likely optimal outcome will be to make the team's practice squad to continue his development into being ready for the professional level.
