The Ft. Lauderdale, Florida native played the first four seasons of his pro career with the Los Angeles Clippers after a draft night deal. He would also have stints with the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic before he was dealt to the (then) New Jersey (now, Brooklyn) Nets in 2008. His stay with the team lasted until he signed with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2010.
During his time suiting up for the Nets, Dooling wore only jersey No. 55 and put up 8.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.
