And for today's article, we will continue with the eighth of eight people to wear the No. 55 jersey, guard alum Mike James. After ending his college career at Lamar, James went unselected in the 2012 NBA Draft, playing in other leagues until he signed with the Phoenix Suns in 2017.
The Portland, Oregon native played the first 32 games of his NBA career with Phoenix. He also played for the New Orleans Pelicans and in other leagues before he signed with the Brooklyn Nets in 2021 for the final season of his NBA career.
During his time suiting up for the Nets, James wore only jersey No. 55 and put up 7.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game.
