The Triteni, Romania native played the first four seasons of his NBA career with the Bullets, coming to an end when he signed with the (then) New Jersey (now, Brooklyn) Nets for the final two seasons of his NBA career in 1999.
During his time suiting up for the Nets, Muresan wore only jersey No. 77 and put up 3.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
