However, the majority of players are there to simply fill out the numbers game for a camp. For example, the Browns need someone to handle long snapping duties for the weekend, so they brought **John Ferimann** from Ohio State in to handle those duties for the weekend. Throughout the season, the Browns will often bring in players for tryouts. However, this is the first time I can recall seeing a veteran player participate in rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. I am referring to WR **Jaelon Reagor**, who was formerly a first-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles.

• P **Nik Constantinou** Every year, there are some players who aren’t rookies, but are fringe first-year players (typically on reserve/future contracts), who also take part in rookie minicamp. These are the type of players who also need to have a solid rookie minicamp, because if one of those 25 tryout players makes a big impression, these guys could be viewed as yesterday’s news, so-to-speak.
