The Cleveland Browns came into the 2026 NFL Draft with a big need at wide receiver, and took two players: KC Concepcion in Round 1, and Denzel Boston in Round 2.
Both were much-needed additions for the Browns. But now with both on the roster, the evaluation for their impact in Fantasy Football in 2026 is noteworthy. There's plenty of volume here, but the question is where they should be drafted, and who's more valuable.
ESPN conducted a 10-team mock draft for the 2026 Fantasy Football season, and the Browns' rookies found their landing spots down the board a bit, with one going well ahead of the other.
In Round 10 of ESPN's mock draft, Concepcion was selected at the No. 94 pick, with fellow WRs Matthew Golden (No. 91), Makai Lemon (No. 92), and Jordan Addison (No. 93) going just before him.
The Texas A&M receiver was the 45th receiver off the board, and for a 10-team league, he would be a bench WR option. He did go just before Jayden Reed (No. 95) and Michael Wilson (No. 96), but wasn't a highly-drafted player.
With Concepcion seemingly as a priority bench option based on this mock draft spot from ESPN, where does Boston fall in their initial mock draft?
KC Concepcion was drafted in Round 1, while Denzel Boston was selected in Round 2.
ESPN's mock draft shows that both rookies have notable but differing values in Fantasy Football, with one projected to be drafted ahead of the other.
The Browns entered the 2026 NFL Draft with a significant need at wide receiver, which they addressed by selecting Concepcion and Boston.

In a bit of a surprise, Boston wasn't actually drafted in this 16-round Fantasy Football mock draft. ESPN clearly has a much higher evaluation of Concepcion than Boston.
Jerry Jeudy and every other Browns WR weren't drafted, so it was only Concepcion that was taken by ESPN's 10-team, 16-round mock draft. But why is Concepcion the top Browns WR?
Jeudy's inconsistency has most concerned about his production in Fantasy, and there are similar fears with Boston. He's a big-bodied WR who isn't going to be as frequently utilized, in theory, as Concepcion.
The Browns 1st-round WR is more of an underneath, and yards-after-the-catch receiver. Put another way, he doesn't have to rely on good QB play to have a good week. Boston is a bit different, as he doesn't project for nearly as much volume.
Especially in Full-PPR formats, Concepcion is the much-better pick of the Browns WR trio. His floor is solid, and with some great YAC ability, he could be a nice option even with mediocre QB play, which is expected for Cleveland this upcoming season.
