The Cleveland Browns took care of business during the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
After starting the night by trading with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Browns selected Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano with the ninth overall pick, bringing another new offensive line starter into the fold for a team that was already to projected to have four new starters up front this season. Then, later in the night, the Browns stuck at pick No. 24 and bolstered their receiving corps with the selection of Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion.
Attacking those two needs early opens up numerous possibilities for the Browns when the second night of the draft gets underway on Friday. Thanks to their trade with Kansas City, they’ll have an additional third-round selection at No. 74 overall, giving them three more top 100 picks to work with.
