The Cleveland Browns are entering the 2026 NFL Draft with a pair of first-round picks, with the chance to significantly improve the offense in just a few hours.
They own the No. 6 and No. 24 overall picks in this year's draft, and are likely going after offensive linemen and wide receivers with those picks. But, there has also been buzz about a trade.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Browns' buzz about trading one of their picks, especially the No. 6 pick, has continued to grow on draft day. The Browns are eyeing a trade-down.
"Some draft notes, per sources: ...The browns have been open to moving down from No. 6," Schultz reports.
This report isn't a surprise, as the Browns have been linked to trade-downs in the last few weeks. One of the more common links was the Dallas Cowboys moving up from No. 12 to take one of the top defensive players at this pick.
For the Browns, a team eyeing help along the offensive line and at wide receiver, if a team want's to trade up for a defender, they will be more open to a deal.
The issue for the Browns, despite their willingness to trade down, is finding a team willing to move up in the draft.

Multiple teams are open to moving down the board a bit this year, though there aren't many willing to jump up the board. But, if a team wants to leap the and , this Browns pick at No. 6 overall is valuable.
