Some are very excited about the Cleveland Browns finally adding a fullback for HC Todd Monkenâs offense. A few more (sarcasm) are excited about the Browns results from the 2026 NFL draft. FB Michael Burton may have a huge impact on Clevelandâs season, but it is far more likely that the 10 rookies brought in via draft picks and potentially an undrafted free agent or two will do even more.
An early look at Browns draft grades showed a lot of positives with top grades from ESPNâs Mel Kiper Jr., Dane Brugler, and The Ringer, Cleveland fans are rightfully excited about what GM Andrew Berry was able to pull off.
Now, what is becoming an annual tradition from Rene Bugner, we have a compilation of 24 draft grades from some of the biggest names and places in the game. With the highest GPA this year, at 3.83, Clevelandâs draft had just five grades lower than an âAâ from the group:

Bugner does a great job of ordering the graders from easiest to toughest, with four of the Browns lower grades coming from the harder graders in the group.
In all, the next highest draft classes belong to the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants at 3.68. The three lowest grades went to the San Francisco 49ers (2.04), the Los Angeles Rams (1.79), and the Jacksonville Jaguars (1.34).
