The Cleveland Browns have made their first pick on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Here, they address the center position, bringing on Alabama center Parker Brailsford.
While Brailsford is an undersized center, coming in at 6-foot-2 and 289 pounds, he is an elite athlete. Head coach Todd Monken had another undersized, but elite athlete at center with the Baltimore Ravens in Tyler Linderbaum. This is not to say that Brailsford has the talent of Linderbaum, but that the archetype is not unknown to Monken's scheme.
This is the first of four fifth round picks for the Browns in a seven-pick span.
The Browns then selected an Alabama teammate, selecting linebacker Justin Jefferson with the 149th overall pick in the draft. Undersized but athletic, the Browns land a potential WILL linebacker with the uncertainty of Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah looming.
The second pick, pick No. 148 was traded to the Seattle Seahawks. They received a 2027 fourth rounder to move out of that slot. They traded pick No. 152 to the Denver Broncos as well. They will be back on the clock with the 170th pick in the draft. They landed the 182nd pick from Denver as well.
