
Hannah Buckley has been appointed as the new CEO of Bristol City Women, succeeding Lowri Roberts. Buckley will start in June and aims to prepare the club for the 2026-27 season.

Bristol City Women have appointed Hannah Buckley as their new chief executive officer.
Buckley takes over from Lowri Roberts, who has held the role on an interim basis since December following the takeover by Mercury13.
Buckley has previously worked with the Women's Super League and the Football Association and will join the club in June in preparation for the 2026-27 season.
"[Hannah] brings strategic vision, operational excellence and deep knowledge of the women's game," said board director and Mecury13 co-founder Mario Malave.
"As we continue building for long-term success, her leadership will be key to shaping a club ready to compete at the highest possible level for years to come."
Bristol City finished fourth in the WSL 2 table this season, seven points off the top two in manager Charlotte Healy's first campaign in charge.
