The Milwaukee Bucks fired former head coach Doc Rivers following a disappointing 32-50 finish during the 2025-26 NBA season.
Now, one of the Bucks stars is calling out the former Boston Celtics leader for an apparent habit of not holding his players accountable.
During the most recent episode of his "Game Recognize Game w/ Stewie & Myles" podcast that he co-hosts with WNBA star Breanna Stewart, Myles Turner discussed his first season in Milwaukee.
"Doc Rivers, he didnât fine anybody, ever," the center said. "Guys were late all the time. Guys were showing up to film whenever they wanted to show up. Guys were missing meetings. It was one of the craziest things Iâve personally ever experienced."
Bucks two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo made headlines in April when he praised Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla and called out Rivers.

Turner said that the way things were handled under Rivers was unprecedented for him.
"Any other team Iâve been on, guys got fined," the 2015 first-round pick said. "There was a sense of order and a sense of understanding. Youâre late to the plane, (you get a) fine. Youâre late to treatment: fine. Youâre late to film: fine. But I personally did not experience that last year for the first time in my career."
Turner explained that Antetokounmpo -- who the Celtics continue to be linked to in trade rumors -- took advantage of Rivers' apparent lackadaisical approach.
"If the plane took off at 2 oâclock, we werenât leaving until 4:30. Iâm being so serious, bro. It was crazy. Guys were an hour late to the plane. It got to the point where I just knew not to show up until an hour after they said the plane was taking off," the defensive standout said. "Giannis is gonna show up whenever he wants, really. I think that just came with the territory. And once I kind of saw what was going down, I said, âHey, man, more power to you. They ainât gonna fine you. Do what you do.'"
